Gözne / Gösne is
a fortified estate house consisting of a rectangular East Building, which is
protected by four attached towers, and a separate donjon-like West Tower with
impressive battlements, all of Armenian construction from either the 12th or
13th centuries. This site is located in
the Taurus Mts. among the cluster of fortresses south of Çandır (Papeṙōn).
