Alafakılar is
a square two-storey medieval watchtower, possibly of Byzantine construction, on
a strategic road between Sis and Bostan.
Instead of the ubiquitous limestone, the walls are of sandstone
masonry. This site has inter-visibility
with Anavarza and with the Armenian monastery at Andıl.
