Anacık is
an Armenian fortified estate house which has a rectangular plan of two stories
with small round towers in the corners and additional salients in the center of
each longitudinal wall. This site is
located at the extreme northeast edge of Cilicia Pedias, approximately 25 km
east of Kadirli, and is positioned to guard a secondary route north to Geben
and Cappadocia.
