Tumlu is
an impressive Armenian castle. Located
near the center of Cilicia Pedias this site guarded a road connecting with the primary
routes north to Sis and Anavarza. Tumlu
is also in close proximity to the highway linking the fortresses of Yılan and
Toprak.
