Gülek [Arab: Kawlāk; Arm: Kuklak, Guglag or Gogulat; Frank: Cogelaquus or Cogueloch] is an Armenian baronial castle with traces of late antique and Byzantine construction.  The impressive defenses and gate are placed at the south.  It is strategically located above the main route to the Cilician Gates.
