Īşa is
a small Armenian garrison fortress with a vaulted chapel, small bailey, and a
surprisingly intricate and well-defended entrance. This site is located in the Vale of Karsantı
near the castle at Tamrut. Nearby are
the remains of a medieval civilian settlement with a stone fountain.
