Kız near Gözne is a small fortified Armenian monastery with a well-executed chapel and lengthy dedicatory inscription.  It was a baronial possession of the Hetʽumids who resided in the nearby castle at Çandır (Papeṙōn).  This site has tentatively been identified with the Armenian monastery of Mlič (Մլիճ).
